A unique fate for any Yale graduate

I was at the Seashore Trolley Museum today, and riding one of the breezers (open cars) used for the Bowl and other American Football games.

The cars could officially carry 75, but would have passengers on the running boards and even on the roof! This was very dangerous; 600 volts DC--such as is running through that pole--is lethal, and in some ways worse than AC, since your muscles LOCK.
If someone's looking for a way to remove someone from the timestream, this is a good one, or even if you want someone injured in a way that is consistent with their lifestyle.

(Edit: Streetcars/trolleys/interurbans/trams make an interesting source of POD's)

I like it. Where is the museum? I have this urge to visit it some day, mostly so I can ride the trolleys.

"This trolley here with the smoke stacks and paddle wheel ornamentation served on the famed Casino line in Las Vegas. Some trollies were decorated to match the different casinos. This one was decorated in the theme of the Showboat Casino and Hotel.

Continuing with the nautical theme, here we have a rare amphibious trolley. It is a converted from a WW-2 era DUKW amphibious truck..."

Just today I was thinking of the Sydney tram / rail network in Tankie Australia after the Department of Main Roads riots in the late 40s (no private road service to provide better times than state railway or trams etc). Three story brick and eight story estate blocks etc in the 1950s fill in period.
